News Release on Receiving Donation from New York Buddhist Vihara for Earthquake Victims in Myanmar (16 May 2025)

သတင်းအဖြစ်ထုတ်ပြန်ချက်
နယူးယောက်မြို့ အခြေစိုက် New York Buddhist Vihara သီရိလင်္ကာဘုန်းတော်ကြီးကျောင်း မှ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် ဖြစ်ပွားခဲ့သည့် ငလျင်ဘေးအန္တရာယ် ကြောင့် ဒုက္ခခံစားနေရသော ပြည်သူများအတွက် အလှူငွေများ လာရောက်ပေးအပ် လှူဒါန်း
၁။ နယူးယောက်မြို့ အခြေစိုက် New York Buddhist Vihara သီရိလင်္ကာဘုန်းတော်ကြီးကျောင်းမှ ဘုန်းတော်ကြီးများသည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် မကြာသေးမီက ဖြစ်ပွားခဲ့သော ၇.၇ ပြင်းအားရှိ ငလျင်ဒဏ်ကြောင့် သဘာဝ ဘေးအန္တရာယ်သင့် ပြည်သူများအား ကူညီပေးနိုင်ရန် အမေရိကန် ဒေါ်လာ ၆,၀၀၀/- (အမေရိကန် ဒေါ်လာ ခြောက်ထောက် တိတိ) (Check ဖြင့်) အား ၁၄-၅-၂၀၂၅ ရက်နေ့ မွန်းလွဲပိုင်းတွင် ကုလသမဂ္ဂ ဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာ အမြဲတမ်းကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့ရုံး သို့ လာရောက်လှူဒါန်းခဲ့ရာ၊ ကုလသမဂ္ဂဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာ အမြဲတမ်း ကိုယ်စားလှယ် သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးကျော်မိုးထွန်းက လက်ခံ ခဲ့ပါသည်။
၂။ ထိုသို့ အလှူငွေများအား လက်ခံရာတွင် မြန်မာအမြဲတမ်းကိုယ်စားလှယ် က လက်ရှိ အချိန်တွင် မြန်မာ ပြည်သူများအနေဖြင့် မတရား စစ်အာဏာသိမ်းမှုကြောင့် ဒုက္ခရောက်နေကြရသည့်အချိန်တွင် ပြင်းအား ကြီးမား သော ငလျင်ဘေးအန္တရာယ်ဖြစ်ပွားမှုကြောင့် ပိုမို ဆိုးရွားသော အခြေအနေ၊ အခက်အခဲများနှင့် စိန်ခေါ်မှုများကို ရင်ဆိုင် ကျော်ဖြတ်နေရကြောင်း၊ မြန်မာပြည်သူများ အခက်အခဲ ရှိနေချိန် ယခုကဲ့သို့ လှူဒါန်း ငွေများ လှူဒါန်းသည့် အတွက် အထူး ကျေးဇူးတင်ရှိပါကြောင်းနှင့် မြန်မာ ပြည်သူများကိုယ်စား ကျေးဇူးဥပကာရတင်ရှိ ပါကြောင်း၊ ဤ လူသားချင်း စာနာမှု အကူအညီ လှူဒါန်းမှုကို အမှန် တကယ် အကူအညီ လိုအပ်လျက်ရှိသော ပြည်သူများ ထံ ရောက်ရှိစေရန် အမျိုးသားညီညွတ်ရေးအစိုးရမှ တစ်ဆင့် ဆက်လက်ပေးပို့ ဆောင်ရွက်သွားမည် ဖြစ်ပါကြောင်း လျှောက်ထားခဲ့ပါသည်။
၃။ ဤသို့ ကူညီပေးမှု အတွက် New York Buddhist Vihara သီရိလင်္ကာဘုန်းတော်ကြီးကျောင်း နှင့် သံဃာတော်များ၊ လှူဒါန်းသူ များ ကို အမြဲ အမှတ်ရနေမည်ဖြစ်ပါကြောင်းလည်း လျှောက်ထားခဲ့ပါသည်။
၄။ မြန်မာအမြဲတမ်းကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့ရုံးအနေဖြင့် New York Buddhist Vihara သီရိလင်္ကာ ဘုန်းကြီး ကျောင်းထံမှ လှူဒါန်းသည့် လှူဒါန်းငွေ အမေရိကန်ဒေါ်လာ (၆,၀၀၀/-) တိတိပါCheck လက်မှတ်ကို “Funds for Future” အဖွဲ့အစည်း၏ ဘဏ်ငွေစာရင်းသို့ ၁၆-၅-၂၀၂၅ ရက်နေ့တွင် လွှဲပြောင်းပေးပို့ ထားပါကြောင်း လည်း ဖော်ပြအပ်ပါသည်။

Receiving Donation from New York Buddhist Vihara for Earthquake Victims in Myanmar
On 14 May 2025, Venerable from the New York Buddhist Vihara have donated US Dollar 6000/- (US Dollar Six Thousand Only) in Check to assist earthquake victims in Myanmar and these donations have been received by H.E. Mr. Kyaw Moe Tun, Permanent Representative of Myanmar to the United Nations at the Permanent Mission of Myanmar in New York.
At the occasion, Ambassador Kyaw Moe Tun mentioned that the suffering of the people caused by the illegal military coup has been compounded by the 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar over a month ago, and the people are experiencing various kinds of challenges and difficulties. Ambassador Kyaw Moe Tun, on behalf of the people of Myanmar and his own behalf, extended deep appreciations to the venerable for their generosity and donation to the people Myanmar. He also stated that this donation will be sent to the victims of the earthquake through the National Unity Government of Myanmar which has put its utmost efforts in responding to the impact of the earthquake and in delivering necessary humanitarian assistance to the people in need.
For such generosity and support, the New York Buddhist Vihara and its venerable as well as the donors will always be remembered by the people of Myanmar.
The Permanent Mission of Myanmar today deposited the check of US Dollar 6000/- into the bank account of “Fund for Future”.
