၁။ ကုလသမဂ္ဂဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာအမြဲတမ်းကိုယ်စားလှယ် သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးကျော်မိုးထွန်းသည် ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်၊ စက်တင်ဘာအတွက် အာရှ-ပစိဖိတ်ဒေသအုပ်စု၏ အလှည့်ကျဥက္ကဋ္ဌတာဝန်အား ၁-၉-၂၀၂၆ ရက်နေ့မှစတင်၍ ထမ်းဆောင်လျက်ရှိရာ ၃၀-၉-၂၀၂၆ ရက်နေ့တွင် အဆိုပါ တာဝန်ထမ်းဆောင်မှု အောင်မြင်စွာ ပြီးမြောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
၂။ ကုလသမဂ္ဂရှိ အာရှ-ပစိဖိတ်ဒေသအုပ်စုအနေဖြင့် အဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံများအကြားတွင် ဥက္ကဋ္ဌတာဝန်ကို နိုင်ငံများ၏ အမည်အက္ခရာစဉ်အလိုက် လစဉ် လွှဲပြောင်းကာ ထမ်းဆောင်လျက်ရှိပါသည်။ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအနေဖြင့် ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်၊ စက်တင်ဘာလအတွက် အာရှ-ပစိဖိတ်ဒေသအုပ်စု၏အလှည့်ကျဥက္ကဋ္ဌတာဝန်ကို ၁-၉-၂၀၂၆ ရက် နေ့တွင် ကာဂျစ်သမ္မတနိုင်ငံထံမှ လွှဲပြောင်းလက်ခံခဲ့ပါသည်။
၃။ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအနေဖြင့် အာရှ-ပစိဖိတ်ဒေသအုပ်စု၏ အလှည့်ကျဥက္ကဋ္ဌတာဝန်အား ထမ်းဆောင်ရာတွင် ဒေသအုပ်စုအတွင်းရှိ အဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံများ၏ လုံခြုံရေးကောင်စီ အမြဲတမ်းမဟုတ်သော ရွေးကောက်ခံ နိုင်ငံများ၊ အထွေထွေညီလာခံ၏ ဥက္ကဋ္ဌရာထူးနှင့် ဒုတိယဥက္ကဋ္ဌရာထူးများ၊ ကုလသမဂ္ဂပင်မကော်မတီများ၏ ဗျူရိုအဖွဲ့ဝင်များ၊ အထူးကော်မတီများ၊ အကြံပေးကော်မတီများ၊ လုပ်ငန်းအဖွဲ့များ၊ ကော်မရှင်များ၊ အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာတရားရုံးအဖွဲ့ဝင်၊ စီးပွားရေးနှင့် လူမှုရေးကောင်စီနှင့် လက်အောက်ခံ အဖွဲ့အစည်းများ၊ လူ့အခွင့်အရေးကောင်စီနှင့် ယင်းအောက်မှ အဖွဲ့အစည်းများ၊ အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာဥပဒေနှင့် ဆက်စပ်အဖွဲ့အစည်းများနှင့် အခြားအထူးအေဂျင်စီများ စသည်တို့တွင် ကိုယ်စားလှယ်လောင်းများ(Candidates)အဖြစ် ပါဝင်ရန် အဆိုပြုလာသည့်ကိစ္စရပ်များ(Proposal of Candidatures) အတွက် အဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံများအကြား သံတမန်စာများ ဖြန့်ဝေခြင်း၊ အဆိုပြုတင်သွင်းလာသည့် ကိုယ်စားလှယ်လောင်းများအား အာရှ-ပစိဖိတ်ဒေသအုပ်စုကိုယ်စား အတည်ပြု ထောက်ခံပေးခြင်း (Endorsement) နှင့် သက်ဆိုင်ရာ အတွင်းရေးမှူးရုံးများသို့ စာဆက်လက်ပေးပို့ခြင်းနှင့် ယင်းရုံးများမှ အကြောင်းကြားလာသည့်စာများကို အဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံများသို့ ဖြန့်ဝေ၊ အသိပေးခြင်းတို့အပြင် ဒေသအုပ်စု၏ အခြားသောလုပ်ငန်းများအား လွယ်ကူချောမွေ့စေရန် တာဝန်ယူ ဆောင်ရွက်ပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။
၄။ ထို့ပြင် ကုလသမဂ္ဂဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာအမြဲတမ်းကိုယ်စားလှယ် သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးကျော်မိုးထွန်း အနေဖြင့် ၁၄-၉-၂၀၂၆ ရက်နေ့တွင် ကုလသမဂ္ဂအထွေထွေညီလာခံ မျက်နှာစုံညီအစည်းအဝေး၌ ကျင်းပခဲ့သော နော်ဝေဘုရင် ပဉ္စမမြောက် ဟာရဲလ်ဒ် ကွယ်လွန်နတ်ရွာစံခြင်းအတွက် လွမ်းဆွတ်သည့်အထိမ်းအမှတ် အခမ်းအနား၌ ဒေသအုပ်စုကိုယ်စား ဝမ်းနည်းကြောင်းမိန့်ခွန်းပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။
၅။ ၃၀-၉-၂၀၂၆ ရက် (ဗုဒ္ဓဟူးနေ့)၊ နေ့လယ် (၁၅၀၀) နာရီတွင်လည်း အာရှ-ပစိဖိတ်ဒေသအုပ်စု၏ လစဉ်အစည်းအဝေး (Monthly Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Group) ကို အောင်မြင်စွာ ခေါ်ယူကျင်းပခဲ့ပါသည်။ အဆိုပါ အစည်းအဝေးတွင် ပုံမှန်ဆွေးနွေးသည့် ခေါင်းစဉ်များကို ဆွေးနွေးသည့် အပြင် United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC) ၏ Director ဖြစ်သူ Ms. Dima Al-Khatib မှ ၂၀၂၇ ခုနှစ် ဇွန်လ တွင် ကျင်းပမည့် 23rd Session of the High-Level Committee on South-South Cooperation နှင့် စပ်လျဉ်း၍ အာရှ-ပစိဖိတ်ဒေသအုပ်စု အဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံများသို့ လာရောက် ရှင်းလင်းတင်ပြသည့် ဆွေးနွေးမှု အစီအစဉ်ကိုလည်း ထည့်သွင်းဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ပါသည်။
၆။ ထို့နောက် ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ် အောက်တိုဘာလအတွက် အာရှ-ပစိဖိတ်ဒေသအုပ်စု၏ အလှည့်ကျ ဥက္ကဋ္ဌတာဝန် ကို နာရို (Naoero) နိုင်ငံ အမြဲတမ်းကိုယ်စားလှယ်အား လွှဲပြောင်းပေးအပ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
၇။ ကုလသမဂ္ဂဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာအမြဲတမ်းကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့ရုံးအနေဖြင့် အာရှ-ပစိဖိတ်ဒေသအုပ်စု၏ အလှည့်ကျဥက္ကဋ္ဌ တာဝန်ကို ၂၀၂၂ ခုနှစ်၊ ဖေဖော်ဝါရီလတွင် တစ်ကြိမ် ထမ်းဆောင်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
၈။ ယခုအခါ (၈၁) ကြိမ်မြောက် ကုလသမဂ္ဂအထွေထွေညီလာခံ စတင်သည့်အချိန်၊ အဆင့်မြင့် သီတင်းပတ် (High-level Week) တို့ ကျင်းပနေပြီး ပင်မကော်မတီများ၏ အစည်းအဝေးများမစတင်မီ ကုလသမဂ္ဂအဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံအသီးသီး၌ လုပ်ငန်းတာဝန်များ များပြားနေသည့်ကာလဖြစ်သော ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်၊ စက်တင်ဘာလအတွင်း၌ အာရှ-ပစိဖိတ်ဒေသအုပ်စု၏ အလှည့်ကျဥက္ကဋ္ဌတာဝန်ကို ထပ်မံ၍ အောင်မြင်စွာထမ်းဆောင်နိုင်ခဲ့ခြင်း ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
၉။ ထိုသို့ ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်၊ စက်တင်ဘာလအတွက် အာရှ-ပစိဖိတ်ဒေသအုပ်စု၏ အလှည့်ကျဥက္ကဋ္ဌ တာဝန်အား အောင်မြင်စွာထမ်းဆောင်နိုင်ရန် မိမိတို့နှင့် ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ပေးကြသည့် အာရှ-ပစိဖိတ်ဒေသအုပ်စု၏ အဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံများအားလုံးကိုလည်း ကုလသမဂ္ဂဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာအမြဲတမ်းကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့ရုံး အနေဖြင့် ကျေးဇူး တင်ရှိပါကြောင်း ဖော်ပြအပ်ပါသည်။

News Release on
Completion of Term as Chair of the Asia-Pacific Group for
September 2026 by Ambassador Kyaw Moe Tun,
Permanent Representative of Myanmar to the United Nations

1. Ambassador Kyaw Moe Tun, Permanent Representative of Myanmar to the United Nations, assumed the role of rotating Chair of the Asia-Pacific Group for the month of September 2026 on 1 September 2026 and successfully completed his term on 30 September 2026.
2. The Asia-Pacific Group at the United Nations rotates its monthly chairmanship among member states in alphabetical order, and Myanmar assumed the chairmanship for the month of September 2026 from the Kyrgyz Republic on 1 September 2026.
3. During its term as Chair of the Asia-Pacific Group, Myanmar facilitated the work of the group by circulating Notes Verbales among Member States regarding candidatures proposed for various positions. These included non-permanent seats on the Security Council, President and Vice-Presidents of the General Assembly, bureau members of UN Main Committees, special committees, advisory committees, working groups, commissions, judges of the International Court of Justice, the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and its subsidiary bodies, Human Rights Council and its bodies, international legal and related bodies, and other specialized agencies. Additionally, the Chair issued endorsements on behalf of the Asia-Pacific Group for proposed candidates, transmitted communications to respective secretariats, distributed letters received from these secretariats to member states, and facilitated other group business.
4. Furthermore, on 14 September 2026, Ambassador Kyaw Moe Tun delivered a statement of condolences on behalf of the Asia-Pacific Group at the United Nations General Assembly Plenary Meeting held to pay tribute to the memory of His Majesty King Harald V of Norway.
5. On 30 September 2026 at 3:00 PM, the Chair convened the Monthly Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Group and facilitated a briefing by Ms. Dima Al-Khatib, Director of the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC), regarding the 23rd Session of the High-Level Committee on South-South Cooperation, to be held in June 2027, to member states of the Asia-Pacific Group.
6. Then, the Chairpersonship of the Asia-Pacific Group for the month of October 2026 was handed over to the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Naoero.
7. The Permanent Mission of Myanmar to the United Nations previously served as the Chair of the Asia-Pacific Group in February 2022.
8. Myanmar successfully completed this chairmanship during September 2026, a period marked by heavy workloads across UN member states due to the opening of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly, High-level Week, and preparations ahead of the Main Committees' meetings.
9. The Permanent Mission of Myanmar to the United Nations expresses its gratitude to all Member States of the Asia-Pacific Group for their cooperation and support in ensuring the successful execution of the chairmanship for the month of September 2026.
