သတင်းအဖြစ်ထုတ်ပြန်ချက်

၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ်တွင် ကျရောက်သော အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာ ဗုဒ္ဓနေ့ အထိမ်းအမှတ် အခမ်းအနား၌ ကုလသမဂ္ဂဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာအမြဲတမ်းကိုယ်စားလှယ် သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးကျော်မိုးထွန်း က မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် ဗုဒ္ဓနေ့၊ ကဆုန်လပြည့်နေ့ တွင် ထိရှလွယ်သူများအား ချမ်းသာသုခရစေနိုင်မည့် ယုံကြည်လျက် မိမိတို့က ပုံစံ အမျိုးမျိုးနှင့် အခမ်း အနား မြောက်များစွာဖြင့် ဆင်နွှဲလေ့ရှိ၊ သို့ရာတွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၌ ၂၀၂၁ ခုနှစ်၊ ဖေဖော်ဝါရီလအတွင်း မတရား စစ်အာဏာသိမ်းပြီး နောက်တွင် ဗုဒ္ဓနေ့ အထိမ်းအမှတ်အား ဆင်နွှဲရန် စိန်ခေါ်မှုများ ရှိလာခဲ့၊

မတရား စစ်အာဏာသိမ်းမှုနှင့် စစ်တပ်၏ လေကြောင်းတိုက်ခိုက်မှုများ အပါအဝင် စစ်အုပ်စု၏ နောက်ဆက်တွဲ ရက်စက်ကြမ်းကြုတ်မှုများကြောင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ အခြေအနေမှာ ဆိုးရွား လျက်ရှိ၊ ပြည်သူများ ကြုံတွေ့ ခံစားနေရသည့် ဆင်းရဲဒုက္ခများနှင့် များစွာသော အပြစ်မဲ့ ပြည်သူများ သေဆုံးမှု မှာလည်း ဆို့နင့်ကြေကွဲ ဖွယ်ဖြစ်၊ ထို့ပြင် မြန်မာပြည်သူများ အနေဖြင့် အကြောက်တရားအောက်တွင် နေထိုင်နေရ၊

ပဋိပက္ခဖြစ်စဉ်တိုင်းတွင် ပြည်သူများ၊ အထူးသဖြင့် အမျိုးသမီးများနှင့် မိန်းကလေးငယ် များနှင့် ကလေးသူငယ် များက ပဋိပက္ခ၏ ဘေးဒဏ်ကို အများဆုံး ခါးစည်းခံကြရ၊

ကမ္ဘာတစ်ဝန်းတွင် ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေးနှင့် တည်ငြိမ်းရေးတို့ ရှိစေရေး၊ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေးနှင့် တည်ငြိမ်းရေး တို့ ရရှိရေး၊ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် ပြည်သူများ၏ ဆန္ဒနှင့် အကျိုးစီးပွားတို့နှင့် ကိုက်ညီသည့် အနာဂတ်မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ တည်ဆောက်နိုင်ရေး တို့အတွက် အားလုံးအတူတကွ ဆုတောင်းပေးကြရန် မေတ္တာရပ်ခံပါကြောင်း ပြောကြားခဲ့

 (နယူးယောက်မြို့၊ ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ်၊ မေလ ၁၄ ရက်)

၁။        နယူးယောက်မြို့၊ ကုလသမဂ္ဂဌာနချုပ် စီးပွားရေးနှင့် လူမှုရေးကောင်စီခန်းမတွင် ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ်၌ ကျရောက်သော အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာ ဗုဒ္ဓနေ့ အခမ်းအနားကို ၁၄-၅-၂၀၂၅ ရက် (ဗုဒ္ဓဟူးနေ့)၊ မွန်းလွဲ (၁၅၃၀) နာရီတွင် ကျင်းပခဲ့ပါသည်။

၂။         အဆိုပါ အခမ်းအနားတွင် ဖိတ်ကြားထားသည့် သံဃာတော်၊ ဆရာတော်များ ပို့ချသည့် ဗုဒ္ဓ တရားတော်အဆုံးအမများကို ခံယူခဲ့ပြီး ကုလသမဂ္ဂ အဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံအချို့မှလည်း မိန့်ခွန်းများ ပြောကြားခဲ့ ကြရာ ကုလသမဂ္ဂဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာအမြဲတမ်းကိုယ်စားလှယ် သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးကျော်မိုးထွန်း လည်း ပါဝင်၍ မိန့်ခွန်းပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။

၃။        မြန်မာအမြဲတမ်းကိုယ်စားလှယ်၏ မိန့်ခွန်းတွင် အောက်ဖော်ပြပါအချက်များ အဓိက ပါဝင်ပါသည်-

(က)     ဆရာတော်၊ သံဃာတော်များ ပို့ချသည့် ဗုဒ္ဓ တရားတော် အဆုံးအမများအတွက် ကျေးဇူး ဥပကာရတင်ရှိပါကြောင်း၊

(ခ)       ကုလသမဂ္ဂဆိုင်ရာ ထိုင်းနှင့် သီရိလင်္ကာ အမြဲတမ်းကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့ရုံးတို့မှ ပူးတွဲ၍ ယနေ့ အခမ်းအနားအား နှစ်စဉ် ကြီးမှူးစီစဉ်ပေးသည့်အတွက်လည်း ကျေးဇူးတင်ရှိပါ ကြောင်း၊

(ဂ)       သန်းပေါင်းများစွာသော ဗုဒ္ဓဘာသာဝင်များအနေဖြင့် ဂေါတမ မြတ်စွာဘုရား ဖွားမြင် တော်မူ၍ သဗ္ဗညုတဉာဏ်တော် ရရှိခြင်းကာ ပရိနိဗ္ဗာန်စံတော်မူခဲ့သည့် နေ့ထူးနေ့မြတ် များအား အထွတ်အမြတ်ထားသည့်အနေဖြင့်  ဗုဒ္ဓနေ့အား ဆင်နွှဲလေ့ရှိကြောင်း၊

(ဃ)     ထို့အတူ ဗုဒ္ဓဘာသာအတွင်းရှိ ဂိုဏ်းဂဏကွဲပြားမှုများကို ကျော်လွန်ကာ ဗုဒ္ဓဘာသာဝင် များအား ၎င်းတို့၏ ဘုံရည်မှန်းချက်နှင့် ဓမ္မလမ်းစဉ်အပေါ် သစ္စာရှိမှုတို့၌ စည်းလုံးစေသည့် နေ့တစ်နေ့ လည်း ဖြစ်ကြောင်း၊ ဗုဒ္ဓနေ့သည် ၂၁ ရာစုအတွင်း နေထိုင်ကြသည့် လူ သန်းပေါင်းများစွာအား စိတ်အားတက်ကြွစေ၍ လမ်းညွှန်ပေးလျက်ရှိသည့် ယနေ့တိုင် သက်ဝင်လှုပ်ရှားမှုရှိသော ရိုးရာဓလေ့တစ်ခုဖြစ်ကြောင်း၊

(င)       မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် ဗုဒ္ဓနေ့အား ကဆုန်လပြည့်နေ့ အဖြစ်လည်း ခေါ်ဝေါ်ကြောင်း၊ ဤနေ့တွင် ထိရှလွယ်သူများအား ချမ်းသာသုခရစေနိုင်မည့် ယုံကြည်လျက် မိမိတို့က ပုံစံ အမျိုးမျိုးနှင့် အခမ်း အနား မြောက်များစွာဖြင့် ဆင်နွှဲလေ့ရှိကြောင်း၊

(စ)       သို့ရာတွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၌ ၂၀၂၁ ခုနှစ်၊ ဖေဖော်ဝါရီလအတွင်း မတရား စစ်အာဏာသိမ်းပြီး နောက်တွင် ဗုဒ္ဓနေ့ အထိမ်းအမှတ်အား ဆင်နွှဲရန် စိန်ခေါ်မှုများ ရှိလာခဲ့ကြောင်း၊

(ဆ)     မတရား စစ်အာဏာသိမ်းမှုနှင့် စစ်တပ်၏ လေကြောင်းတိုက်ခိုက်မှုများ အပါအဝင် စစ်အုပ်စု၏ နောက်ဆက်တွဲ ရက်စက်ကြမ်းကြုတ်မှုများကြောင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ အခြေအနေမှာ ဆိုးရွား လျက်ရှိပြီး ပြည်သူများ ကြုံတွေ့ခံစားနေရသည့် ဆင်းရဲဒုက္ခများနှင့် များစွာသော အပြစ်မဲ့ ပြည်သူများ သေဆုံးမှု မှာလည်း ဆို့နင့်ကြေကွဲ ဖွယ်ကောင်းကြောင်း၊ ထို့ပြင် မြန်မာပြည်သူများ အနေဖြင့် အကြောက်တရားအောက်တွင် နေထိုင်နေရကြောင်း၊

(ဇ)       အဆိုပါ ဒုက္ခများမှာ မကြာသေးမီက ဖြစ်ပွားခဲ့သော ပြင်းအား ၇.၇ ရှိသည့် ငလျင်ဘေး အန္တရာယ်ကြောင့် ပိုမို ဆိုးရွားလာခဲ့ကြောင်း၊

(ဈ)      သို့ဖြစ်ပါ၍ ယနေ့ အခမ်းအနားတွင် ထိုသို့ အခက်အခဲဆုံးဖြစ်သည့် အချိန်အခါများ၌ အသက် ဆုံးရှုံးခဲ့ရသည့် မြန်မာပြည်သူများ သို့မဟုတ် ၎င်းတို့ ချစ်မြတ်နိုးရသူများအား ဆုံးရှုံးခဲ့ရသူများ အတွက် ဝမ်းနည်းကြောင်း ပြသလိုကြောင်း၊

(ည)     ပဋိပက္ခဖြစ်စဉ်တိုင်းတွင် ပြည်သူများ၊ အထူးသဖြင့် အမျိုးသမီးများနှင့် မိန်းကလေးငယ် များနှင့် ကလေးသူငယ်များက ပဋိပက္ခ၏ ဘေးဒဏ်ကို အများဆုံး ခါးစည်းခံကြရကြောင်း၊

(ဋ)       ယခုအချိန်သည် အန္တရာယ် ကြီးမားစွာ ကျရောက်နေသည့် လူသားဆန်မှုအား ထိန်းသိမ်း ကာကွယ်နိုင်ရန်အတွက် နိုင်ငံတကာအသိုက်အဝန်းမှ မလွဲမသွေ အလေးထား ဆောင်ရွက် ရမည့် အချိန်အခါပင်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း၊

(ဌ)       ကမ္ဘာတစ်ဝန်းရှိ ပြည်သူပြည်သားများ၏ အသက်အိုးအိမ်အပေါ် သက်ရောက်မှုရှိသော ပဋိပက္ခ များ နှင့် ပြဿနာများအတွက် ရေရှည်တည်တံ့မည့် နည်းလမ်းများအား ရှာဖွေ ခြင်းဖြင့် ရုန်းကန် နေစဉ်၌ပင် ဗုဒ္ဓ၏ အဆုံးအမများအပေါ်တွင် တည်ကြည်စွာ မြှုပ်နှံလျက် မေတ္တာ၊ ကရုဏာတို့အား ဆက်လက် ဖြန့်ဝေကြရမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း၊

(ဍ)       အားလုံးအနေဖြင့် ကမ္ဘာတစ်ဝန်းတွင် ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေးနှင့် တည်ငြိမ်းရေးတို့ ရှိစေရေး၊ မိမိတို့ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေးနှင့် တည်ငြိမ်းရေးတို့ ရရှိရေးနှင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် ပြည်သူများ၏ ဆန္ဒနှင့် အကျိုးစီးပွားတို့နှင့် ကိုက်ညီသည့် အနာဂတ်မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ တည်ဆောက်နိုင်ရေးအတွက် အတူတကွ ဆုတောင်းပေးကြရန် မေတ္တာရပ်ခံပါကြောင်း၊

(ဎ)       နိုင်ငံတကာအသိုက်အဝန်းတစ်ရပ်လုံး ကျန်းမာ၊ ချမ်းသာကြစေရန်လည်း ဆုတောင်း မေတ္တာ ပို့သအပ်ပါကြောင်း။

၄။        မြန်မာအမြဲတမ်းကိုယ်စားလှယ် ပြောကြားခဲ့သည့် မိန့်ခွန်း အပြည့်အစုံ (အင်္ဂလိပ်ဘာသာ) အား ပူးတွဲ ဖော်ပြအပ်ပါသည်။

Commemoration of the International Day of Vesak

Venerable Maha Sangha, Excellencies, Distinguish colleagues, ladies and gentlemen,

Good afternoon and Mingalarbar.

To begin with, I wish to extend my humble appreciation to the venerable monks for their prayers and remarkable dhamma sermons.

I also thank the Permanent Missions of Thailand and Sri Lanka for their unwavering effort for co-hosting this celebration to commemorate the International Day of Vesak.

Vesak Day has been celebrated by millions of Buddhists to commemorate the birth, enlightenment, and passing of Gautama Buddha; the convergence of three pivotal events in the Buddha’s life. It is also a day that transcends sectarian differences within Buddhism, uniting followers in their shared devotion and commitment to the path of Dharma. Beyond historical commemoration, Vesak is a living tradition that continues to inspire and guide millions of people in the 21st century.

In Myanmar, Vesak Day is known as Full Moon Day of Kason or Buddha Day. We observe the day with variety of practices and ceremonies on the belief of bringing happiness to the vulnerable.

However, aftermath of the military coup in February 2021, celebrating Buddha Day has become challenging in Myanmar.

Due to the military coup and the subsequent military junta’s atrocities including aerial attacks, the situation in Myanmar is dire, the people’s suffering and loss of numerous innocent lives are heartbreaking, and the people are living with fear.

Such suffering has been further compounded by the recent 7.7 magnitude earthquake in Myanmar.

We therefore wish to take this moment to observe mourning and remembrance for those who have lost their lives or loved ones during the most difficult periods.

In every conflict, the people especially women and girls and children bear the brunt of the conflicts.

It is inevitably high time for the international community to preserve humanity that is in critical danger.

While the world is struggling with conflicts and finding sustainable solutions for issues impacting the lives of all people around the world, we must firmly put faith in Buddha’s teachings and continue spreading metta, loving kindness.

Therefore, I humble request you all to pray for peace and stability across the globe, pray for peace and stability in my country Myanmar and pray for the future Myanmar built in line with will and interest of the people of Myanmar.

Finally, I wish all members of the international community good health and happiness.
