ကုလသမဂ္ဂဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာအမြဲတမ်းကိုယ်စားလှယ် သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးကျော်မိုးထွန်းမှ
၂၀၂၂ ခုနှစ်၊ ဖေဖော်ဝါရီလအတွက် အာရှ-ပစိဖိတ်အုပ်စု၏ ဥက္ကဋ္ဌ
တာဝန်ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ခြင်း

၁။ ကုလသမဂ္ဂဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာအမြဲတမ်းကိုယ်စားလှယ် သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးကျော်မိုးထွန်းသည် ၂၀၂၂ ခုနှစ်၊ ဖေဖော်ဝါရီလ (၁) ရက်နေ့မှ (၂၈) ရက်နေ့အထိ အာရှ-ပစိဖိတ်အုပ်စု၏ ဥက္ကဋ္ဌတာဝန်အား အောင်မြင်စွာ တာဝန်ယူဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
၂။ အာရှ-ပစိဖိတ်အုပ်စုသည် ကုလသမဂ္ဂတွင်ရှိသော ဒေသအုပ်စုများအနက် အဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံ စုစုပေါင်း (၅၄) နိုင်ငံပါဝင်သော ဒေသအုပ်စုတစ်ခု ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ အဆိုပါအုပ်စု၏ ဥက္ကဋ္ဌတာဝန်ကို အဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံများ၏ အမည် အက္ခရာစဉ်အလိုက် လစဉ်အလှည့်ကျ တာဝန်ယူလွှဲပြောင်းထမ်းဆောင်ရပါသည်။ ကုလသမဂ္ဂ ဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာအမြဲတမ်းကိုယ်စားလှယ် သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးကျော်မိုးထွန်းအနေဖြင့် အဆိုပါအုပ်စု၏ ဥက္ကဋ္ဌ တာဝန်ကို ၁-၂-၂၀၂၂ ရက်နေ့တွင် ကုလသမဂ္ဂဆိုင်ရာ မွန်ဂိုလီးယားအမြဲတမ်းကိုယ်စားလှယ် H.E. Mr. Enkhbold Vorshilov ထံမှ လွှဲပြောင်းလက်ခံခဲ့ပါသည်။
၃။ ထိုသို့ အာရှ-ပစိဖိတ်အုပ်စု၏ ဥက္ကဋ္ဌတာဝန်အား တာဝန်ယူဆောင်ရွက်ရာတွင် အဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံများမှ လုံခြုံရေးကောင်စီ၊ အထွေထွေညီလာခံ၏ ဥက္ကဋ္ဌနှင့် ဒုတိယဥက္ကဋ္ဌများ၊ ကော်မတီအလိုက် ဗျူရိုအဖွဲ့ဝင်များ၊ အထူးကော်မတီများ၊ အကြံပေးကော်မတီများ၊ လုပ်ငန်းအဖွဲ့များ၊ ကော်မရှင်များ၊ အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာ တရားရုံးအဖွဲ့ဝင်၊ ECOSOC နှင့် လက်အောက်ခံအဖွဲ့အစည်းများ၊ လူ့အခွင့်အရေးကောင်စီအောက်မှ အဖွဲ့အစည်းများ၊ အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာဥပဒေနှင့် ဆက်စပ်အဖွဲ့အစည်းများနှင့် အခြားအထူးအေဂျင်စီများ စသည်တို့တွင် ကိုယ်စားလှယ်လောင်းအဖြစ်ပါဝင်ရန် အဆိုပြုလာသည့် ကိစ္စရပ်များအတွက် သံတမန်စာ များ ဖြန့်ဝေခြင်း၊ အဆိုပြုတင်သွင်းလာသည့် ကိုယ်စားလှယ်လောင်းများအား အာရှ-ပစိဖိတ်အုပ်စုကိုယ်စား အတည်ပြုထောက်ခံပေးခြင်းနှင့် သက်ဆိုင်ရာကုလသမဂ္ဂအတွင်းရေးမှူးရုံးများသို့ စာဆက်လက်ပေးပို့ အသိပေးခြင်းတို့အပြင် အုပ်စု၏ အခြားသောလုပ်ငန်းများအား လွယ်ကူချောမွေ့စေရန်လည်း တာဝန်ယူ ဆောင်ရွက်ပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။
၄။ အာရှ-ပစိဖိတ်အုပ်စု၏ ဥက္ကဋ္ဌတာဝန်ယူသည့်ကာလအတွင်း ၂၄-၂-၂၀၂၂ ရက်နေ့တွင် ကျွမ်းကျင် သူများအဆင့် အစည်းအဝေးတစ်ရပ်ကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ ၂၈-၂-၂၀၂၂ ရက်နေ့ မွန်းလွဲပိုင်းတွင် အာရှ-ပစိဖိတ် အုပ်စု၏ လစဉ်အစည်းအဝေးကိုလည်းကောင်း ကုလသမဂ္ဂဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာအမြဲတမ်းကိုယ်စားလှယ်က သဘာပတိအဖြစ် ဆောင်ရွက်၍ အောင်မြင်စွာ ကျင်းပခဲ့ပါသည်။
၅။ ကုလသမဂ္ဂဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာအမြဲတမ်းကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့ရုံးအနေဖြင့် ၂၀၂၂ ခုနှစ်၊ ဖေဖော်ဝါရီလ တစ်လတာအတွက် အာရှ-ပစိဖိတ်အုပ်စု၏ အလှည့်ကျဥက္ကဋ္ဌတာဝန်ကို အောင်မြင်စွာ ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ပါ ကြောင်းနှင့် ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ပေးကြသည့် အာရှ-ပစိဖိတ်အုပ်စု၏ အဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံအားလုံးကိုလည်း ကျေးဇူးတင်ရှိပါကြောင်း ဖော်ပြအပ်ပါသည်။

Successful Completion of the Chairmanship for the Asia-Pacific Group by
Permanent Representative of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar
to the United Nations

1. Ambassador Kyaw Moe Tun, Permanent Representative of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the United Nations, has successfully served as Chair of the Asia-Pacific Group (APG) for the month of February 2022.
2. APG is one of the regional groups in the United Nations (UN) comprising of (54) member states. Procedurally, chairmanship of the group has been conducted through a rotational manner according to the alphabetical order of the countries’ names. In this regard, Ambassador Kyaw Moe Tun, Permanent Representative of Myanmar received the chairmanship handover from H.E. Mr. Enkhbold Vorshilov, Permanent Representative of Mongolia on 1 February 2022.
3. During the chairmanship, the Permanent Mission of Myanmar circulated official communications related to the candidatures proposed by the member states of the APG to various bodies in the UN, including the Security Council, Chair and Vice-Chair positions at the General Assembly, Bureaus for various main committees, Special Committees, Advisory Committees, Working Groups, various Commissions, members to the International Court of Justice, members to the ECOSOC and its subsidiary bodies, Human Rights bodies, International Law bodies and other specialized agencies. In addition, the Permanent Mission of Myanmar, in its capacity as Chair of the APG for the month of February 2022, communicated with relevant UN secretariats regarding the group’s endorsements on the candidatures.
4. During his chairmanship, the Permanent Representative of Myanmar successfully convened an Expert-level Meeting of the APG on 24 February 2022 and the Monthly Meeting of the APG on 28 February 2022, respectively.
5. The Permanent Mission of Myanmar to the United Nations fruitfully completed the Chairmanship of the APG for the month of February 2022. Accordingly, the Permanent Mission wishes to express its appreciations to the member states of the APG for their cooperation.
