Letter from Ambassador Kyaw Moe Tun to the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on 29 December 2025

Letter dated 29 December 2025 from the Permanent Representative of Myanmar to the United Nations, H.E. Mr. Kyaw Moe Tun, addressed to the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), H.E. Ms. Mirjana Spoljaric Egger on the ACFCC – MDY, YDNBUSU and GSCB demanding the military junta to disclose the whereabouts of Htet Myat Aung, a nonviolent protest leader underscoring their grave concern for his life on 22 December 2025.

The Identical letter was also sent to Ms. Elyse Mosquini, Permanent Observer of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to the United Nations, New York.
