Letter dated 5 August 2022 from the Permanent Representative of Myanmar to the United Nations, H.E. Mr. Kyaw Moe Tun, addressed to the Secretary-General H.E. Mr. Antonio Guterres, on an extrajudicial execution of prodemocracy activists namely U Kyaw Min Yu (aka) Ko Jimmy, U Phyo Zeya Thaw, U Hla Myo Aung, U Aung Thuya Zaw according to its propaganda newspapers of 25 July 2022, together with the Statement issued by the National Unity Government on 25 July 2022, Joint Statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Human Rights on 26 July 2022, Summary of Emergency State of Union Address by Acting President of Myanmar on 28 July 2022, and Speech to the International Community by the Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the National Unity Government of Myanmar on 30 July 2022.
The identical letters attached with the documents mentioned above were also sent to H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid, President of the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, and all Permanent Representatives and Permanent Observers to the United Nations.
