Letter from Ambassador Kyaw Moe Tun to Secretary-General H.E. Mr. Antonio Guterres on 29 December 2025

Letter dated 29 December 2025 from the Permanent Representative of Myanmar to the United Nations, H.E. Mr. Kyaw Moe Tun, addressed to the Secretary-General H.E. Mr. Antonio Guterres on the ACFCC – MDY, YDNBUSU and GSCB demanding the military junta to disclose the whereabouts of Htet Myat Aung, a nonviolent protest leader underscoring their grave concern for his life on 22 December 2025.

The Identical letters were also sent to H.E. Ms. Annalena Baerbock, President of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, and all Permanent Representatives and Permanent Observers to the United Nations.
